This was masterfully written and put together. The feelings rung through but all the while the words were comforting and uplifting. I Love it!
This book is a good quick read. The first time you read it, you may want a glass of wine and turn your phone off because by the end you'll be thinking about sending those "F*** You" texts. It makes you realize your worth and the things we put up with in relationships.
Heartbreaking and then triumphant. I read the words and my heart sank. As I remembered my own breakups and beginnings, I thought of how powerful it is to tell your story. And this reads as a beautiful story of love, heartbreak and ends as it started with love, but love of self. Great Job, Milner!
Aside from being a gifted actress, Iman is a talented wordsmith. She’s found a great balance between talking about the ugliness of her pain and the redemption that comes after the storm. A great read whether you’re going through a break up or not, we’ve all been there.
